test route was a standard enough one, right out of the test center, left onto the green hills road and 3 direct rights around power city. right again out onto the green hills road. drove through the tymonville estate (did the reverse, turnabout and hill start (more like slope start) there) and came out at tallaght village. through the village and back onto the green hills road and into the test center.
when i got back to the center, was amazed to find i only got 3 greens and 1 blue (reverse around the corner). the mad thing was that my reverse around the corner was fine, but he missed out on more blatant things like me indicating incorrectly once at a roundabout and now checking my blindspot when changing lanes.
moral of the story to anyone who struggled like me is to keep at it. yes it's a pain, yes there's no accountability and yes it's completely inconsistant; but simply by the law of averages, you'll get an reasonable tester, a sweet route and no hazardous situations you've never seen before that can crucify you.
anyway, i've passed, who cares!
